Q: I bought the deal, however I don't see a way to import PDF or Powerpoint files as I was doing in Canva.

You see I create my templates in bulk and upload them in Canva and then I can change content online. I tried to upload SVG but it seems the only way to do that is by one svg icon or figure but not a whole document converted in SVG. Is there a way to upload templates like in PSD, PDF, EPS, SVG, PPX, or any other format? That is one of my most important needs.

Certainly! Your service currently lacks template packages, which means that if I want to create a cohesive set of Instagram posts with the same style but different layouts, I need to pre-produce them in other design applications like Illustrator or PowerPoint. Here's how it works: I export the designs as PDF or PPX files and then upload them to Canva, where I can make further edits as needed. Unfortunately, I couldn't achieve this in your platform, even when I tried exporting my template as an SVG file. The problem is that creating the set individually within your platform would be extremely time-consuming, especially for a set of 50 posts. Therefore, it's crucial for me to be able to upload and edit my templates directly on your platform. I hope this clarifies why this functionality is essential for me.

Dear Albertkinng,

I wanted to thank you for your recent purchase and for choosing Snapied as your creative platform.

I understand that you have a specific requirement for importing PDF and PPTX files into Snapied, similar to how you were able to do so in Canva. I want to apologize for any inconvenience caused, but currently, Snapied does not support the direct import of PDF and PPTX files as templates.

However, I want to assure you that we value your feedback and understand the importance of this feature for your workflow. I'm excited to inform you that incorporating the ability to import PDF files is indeed in our roadmap for future development.

We are constantly working on enhancing our platform and adding new features to meet the needs of our users. Your input is invaluable to us, and we appreciate your suggestion to include this functionality.

Thank you once again for sharing your feedback and for your understanding. We are committed to continuously improving our platform, and we look forward to providing you with an even better experience in the future.

If you have any further questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your satisfaction is our top priority.

Best regards,

Emily

Thanks for taking the time to explain. I understand and I’m happy to know your are working on the PDF import. One of the important needs in my daily workflow. I’m still confused with the collaboration option. I invite someone but they can’t see my templates or designs when they enter the workflow. Any ideas on how to achieve that?

Please ask them to join your workspace as shared in the below article:
https://help.snapied.com/design-editor/how-to-join-a-workspace/

By default a design created by you won't be visible to other team members in the team. You will have to change the control visibility to one of the follows:
Snapied supports 3 levels of control visibilities:

1: Personal – only accessible to the user who created it
This is the default visibility for the created designs. Only being the owner can see the the created designs nobody else.

2: Team – accessible to all members in the current workspace
This visibility makes the created design available for all the members in the current workspace.

3: Workspace – All workspaces you own

Kindly follow the article: https://help.snapied.com/design-editor/controlling-your-design-visibility/

I would request you to kindly mail us at hello@snapied.com in case you have any further difficulties.

Best regards

Emily
