Snapied: Graphic design tool for easy, beautiful designs that standout Reviews

I was suspicious because all the other reviews are quite old and yet only responded to recently.

However Appsumo makes it safe so I tried.

The product is painfully slow. When you try to move a photo onto the work space, grab it, slide it over, and go fill your coffee cup. It takes over 10 seconds in many cases. This issue is not at my side. I have blazing 1 gb internet on a brand new I9 processor with a Nvidia 4080 graphic board with 64gb of memory. Absolutely nothing runs slow for me except this. One pic I tried was very small...356k... This is instant on all other platforms I have tried.

The product will also not allow you to use stock photos from other sites as best as I can tell. It rejected all my photo's that are paid and licensed. Those photos work perfectly in canva and crello with no issues. I did email support but 48hrs later, not even an autoresponder.

So, very slow, no functionality with other stock photos (and their selection is minimal at best) and absolutely no support.

I dislike canva for many reasons and this had the design functionality I needed. But without my photo's and with zero support...just no.

Snapied would be great but the customer support is non existent.

My experience which I also shared with the customer support team was that images didn't download as previewed. They were instead misaligned and useable.

It doesn't seem that the platform is being developed as actively as many other tools I am using.

Snapied is a simple yet powerful graphic design editor that caters to most design needs. The user interface is clean and organized, and the platform colors are beautiful and pleasing to the eye. The site boasts a good collection of illustrations and elements, with quality images from Unsplash and Pexels that cover most categories. It offers unlimited workspaces and users, which is helpful for collaborating with team members. The brand presets feature is really cool, and it’s something that many design software lack.

The background removal feature works flawlessly, and they have an excellent collection of quotes for designing quote posters. The platform is generally fast, although it occasionally gets buggy. Customer support was previously lacking, but it has recently improved, with responses now typically received within a few hours.

However, some areas need improvement:

1. When images are deleted, they are only soft-deleted, taking a long time to be fully removed and free up space. This is not a desirable feature, especially for someone on a Pro Plan, which only provides 5GB of storage. If images could be deleted from the allocated cloud storage instantly or at least within a few hours, it would significantly help Pro Plan users manage their 5 GB cloud storage.

2. When working on a design with multiple pages, deleting one or two pages is not a smooth process. It requires exiting the editor, waiting a few minutes, and then reloading the design for the pages to be successfully deleted.

3. The concept of the Magic Resize tool needs improvement. For instance, if I want to convert a Facebook ad design to an Instagram ad design, the system should automate the process without requiring manual adjustments and corrections. This enhancement would save users time.

4. The Vector PDF and SVG are in beta for such a long time and we are waiting for the stable version. And make these available for the Pro users too when the final version will be ready.

5. The current premium templates are good but the number of templates is very limited. Kindly add more design templates to various categories.

If these problems can be resolved, Snapied is going to rock the graphic design space. I wish all the best to the Snapied Team. Cheers and 5 Tacos!!

On a Mac mini m2 Pro. The site is way too slow. This is unusable for me. They do have a nice selection. But just to 'undo' takes way too long.

mostly it works great, and IT HAS SPELL CHECK no background colors for text and the servers/service seems to be unavailable more often than I would like. Also, I have not quite figured out how to get a response from the helpdesk, could just be me. I think they have a good product and good intentions, some growing pains. So 4 stars.
