I like that Snapied offers some features which we can't access in Canva without the Pro subscription. You might decide to get Snapied because of those features.

I recommend using Snapied in Google Chrome browser, because it was much less buggy than Safari.

Based on my experience, here are the advantages & disadvantages of Snapied.

DISADVANTAGES

1) You can't create a document in inches. You can only work in pixels.

2) There’s no option to search for files that we ourselves upload, either by folder name or file name. So, we have to scroll through different folders to find what we need. We can only search for images & elements from websites like Unsplash & Pixabay.

3) It’s not easy to replace a picture with another one. The replace image tool stretches the image into weird proportions and sometimes ends up cropping it in random ways.

4) It’s hard to see what I’m doing when I'm cropping an image because there’s no clear preview of what the crop will look like, other than a dotted rectangle over the image.

5) If you crop a picture, you can't undo any parts of it later on. It’s a destructive crop that doesn’t allow room for adjustment.

6) You can't crop vector graphics.

7) Frames don’t work as expected. The frames tool only appears if you have an image selected. Frames are mostly unusual shapes and there aren’t many basic shapes. Frames aren't adjustable, and if you try to adjust them, you'll be stretching the image. Also, there’s no way to search for specific frames.

8) You can't edit text boxes when they are grouped together.

9) Filters can only be applied to images, but not to vector graphics.

10) You can't remove colors from a vector graphic, in order to make a part of it transparent.

11) If you add an element, such as a square with no fill, you can't change the stroke thickness of the square. You also can't change the stroke color, because it ends up giving the square a fill instead.

12) The background remover works well, but there's no way to fix small areas that the background remover missed.

13) Border tool won't work on graphics with transparent background.

14) Undo feels unstable at times. It undos steps that it shouldn't.

15) There's a library of quotes, but no way to save & organize our own quotes.

16) We can't upload custom fonts.

17) We can't warp or curve text on a path. There aren't many text effects. You can add a border, but you can't make it too thick or it'll cover up the text. You can also add a shadow to the text, which you can blur & offset.
