Q: Hi SocialBee, when you post to facebook - does it show the post coming from socialbee or do you overwrite it ...
that is doesn't show a scheduler is used? Like instead of socialbee it says the user name / page owner (best case) or something like admin or so. If not, is that somewhere on the road?

May 15, 2024A: Hello, and thanks for your question, Sumo-ling.
So we don't put our own branding at all, but on Facebook, this is the default behavior (for ALL tools going through the Fb API):
- Facebook Pages - they only show it to you, as you're an admin, but not to your fans
- Facebook Profiles - they do show it to everybody
- Facebook Groups - because you're actually posting from your personal profile to the group, the profile rules apply, so they do show the tool that posted it.
Having it say admin, or the username, or any other thing than SocialBee, would actually require a dedicated Facebook app with that name, and this is not something that's doable at scale, for each user individually, so unless we could find a better way of doing this (and I'm not currently aware of any other way), we won't be able to change this part.
I hope this answers your questions, but if it doesn't, please let me know.
Cheers,
Ovi
