I have purchased almost every social tool promoted by AppSumo, as I am always looking for 'the one true tool' that will do it all.

Planable.io, Grum, Promorepublic, etc... all have their strengths.

SocialBee hits an interesting spot - somewhere between Hootsuite for automation and content curation, and Planable for the sophistication of team development.

It is missing the wonderful visual content creation of Promorepublic. I can live with that, since products like Stencil and Designrr and Clickman can provide the visual content I need.

However, where SocialBee completely misses out is analytic- based posting. The product does not (at this time) examine the social member activities of my feed audiences and make recommendations on when to post. The time of posting can have a greater than 200% multiplier on the reach of a post. As a result, even with the excellent categorisation tool in SocialBee and the ability to handle 10 (or 25 or more) feeds from one product, the hit rate is noticeably lower than products like Hootsuite that can identify optimum posting times.

So, shoudl you get tool?

YES: If nothing else, to earmark it for future use, when SocialBee will add analytic posting support. It is cheap enough to buy now, and watch how this evolved.
