I really really really want to love SocialBee. And in fact, I’d now just settle for liking it since I’m all in by spending my hard-earned cash on it.
However, if I knew now after using it, BEFORE buying it... we’ll not so sure I would have done it.
First off, the good: the automation feature works for scheduling out posts in advance. Kinda like dumping all the ingredients into a crockpot so you can set it & forget it while you go about life while the ingredients do it thing for a no-fuss dinner hours later. So... yeah, there’s that.
The other: the interface is clumsy, no available emoticons nor link shortners. And while I’m not a junior high school girl needing to post 🦄 unicorns in my posts, the lack of emoticons gives Social Bee truly a BETA version feel & one that I wish I hadn’t gone all out on a Vegas-style wedding to purchase without going on a few dates to test drive. The upcoming posts view is clunky. Instagram interface is NOT offered & I had to route my Twitter account through a 3rd party buffer to use SocialBee to post content. (Definitely an appropriate emoticon, if available on this alone would be: 🤦🏻♀️)
Overall: a good, primitive try SocialBee. I do hope you spend lots of time reviewing your competition at HootSuite, SproutSocial for functionality, interface & data reporting features required for the serious social media marketer & agencies. However if THIS demographic is NOT your target audience, perhaps somehow disclosing this would be appropriate. Remember one of the cardinal rules of selling & marketing: Underpromise & over-deliver. 🤥
