Customers appreciate SocialBu, praising its seamless scheduling across 12+ platforms, user-friendly interface, and powerful automation features. The ability to analyze performance and manage multiple accounts from one dashboard is a standout. However, some users have noted limitations on link posts for X (Twitter) and occasional confusion with workspace management. Despite these minor drawbacks, SocialBu is a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance their social media presence. With a lifetime deal available and the recent addition of features like integration with ChatGPT, it's worth giving a try!

20 link posts per month on X (Twitter)
I purchased License Tier 2, but it only allows 20 link posts per month on X (Twitter). That's far too few. I didn't notice this before purchasing, and I can't even buy extra link posts for X, which are limited to just 10 anyway, because all these options are disabled. If you use X heavily, keep this limitation in mind before buying.
Everything else seems fine. A dark mode is needed, and automatic threads when you exceed the character limit would be a great addition, as other platforms offer this feature. The app works well on iOS, too. I connected my social media accounts through Hermes and n8n, and everything worked really well.
If you're okay with only 20 link posts per month on X, it's a good purchase. However, I'll be requesting a refund because the limit of 20 link posts per month is far too low.

Exactly What I Needed for an Evergreen Social Media Campaign
As a solo marketer and freelancer, I really appreciate how simple and clean SocialBlu is. It does what I need without being cluttered with a bunch of bloated features I'll never use.
The biggest selling point for me was the one-time payment and the ability to create a truly set-it-and-forget-it social media schedule. I currently have an evergreen campaign scheduled to post twice a week for 52 weeks, with the goal of keeping that content rotating year after year.
It's nice knowing my social media accounts can stay active and consistent while I'm busy working on other projects. I can still jump in and publish manual posts whenever I want, but having that foundation running automatically in the background takes a lot off my plate.
For anyone managing multiple accounts, running a small business, or handling marketing on their own, SocialBlu is a great tool. No unnecessary complexity, no recurring subscription, just a straightforward way to keep content flowing. Exactly what I was looking for!

Load times are unbearable + instant reddit ban
The product takes as much as 3-5 minutes to respond to certain requests. That load time is unacceptable. It needs to be faster. Specifically noted during support requests and attaching accounts.
Update: 3 uses of this product for 3 different clients got all 3 reddit accounts banned. NEVER use this product.

Oct 12, 2026You are right that waiting 3–5 minutes for a response is unacceptable. Connecting accounts and submitting support requests should not take that long.
We are reviewing both flows to identify whether the delay comes from SocialBu, the social network authorization process, or a failed request that is not returning promptly. Please send us the approximate time, affected network, and the email on your...

Disappointing and not honoring Tier Deals for AppSumo Members
I would have given them at least 3 tacos, but I noticed they aren't honoring Tier 4 deals for some AppSumo members, which broke my trust in them.
The Pros:
They let you connect directly to Instagram, which also allows for easy login to Threads. Vista Social can't do this because it has to be linked to Facebook, but AdaptlyPost can do this as well.
They have social listening and an inbox, which are great features.
The Cons:
The RSS feature is unreliable and only pulls one post, even when I publish 30. You also can't add approval steps to posts, which would prevent them from publishing automatically and allow you to edit them first.
It can't pull images and titles from links, which is bad for automation. AdaptlyPost and Vista Social do this, and the images don't even have to be featured images.
They have been around for eight years, but AdaptlyPost is brand new and will surpass them soon at blazing-fast speed. The main concern is trust, so I am choosing AdaptlyPost instead currently on AppSumo

Oct 12, 2026Thank you for sharing this. Your concern about the Tier 4 situation is understandable. The customer account discussed on Reddit has now been updated to the new Tier 4 allowance of 150 connected accounts. We handled that case too slowly after agreeing to make the change, and we have apologized to the customer.
Your RSS feedback also identifies real limitations that we should explain more clearly....

Avoid this deal, the founder lacks integrity.
You can read about it here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/appsumo/comments/1wvqp76/warning_be_careful_investing_in_socialbu_red_flags/
I wasn't going to leave a negative review, but it's been 8 days, and he still hasn't given me the "tier 4" 150 accounts that appsumo has me mapped to, so I guess I will.
Appsumo and the founder are currently in a standoff; they are fighting to get me my tier 4 and 150 accounts that my plan is mapped to, but he is refusing to cooperate.
He even said multiple times he would give me my limits and hasn't lifted a finger to do so.
Also, the experience using the tool has been horrible; the accounts disconnect all the time, and you have to reconnect them constantly, which makes the tool not ideal for what it's intended to do.
It seems to be a pattern for the founders of these types of tools, "social media schedulers," to lack integrity.
UPDATE:
I refunded my tier 4 with 150 accounts and repurchased the adjusted tier 4, which costs more, to get access to the 150 accounts that my original plan said I rightfully was supposed to have. The founder did not adjust my account himself. Also, my accounts get disconnected daily still. Every time I pull up my email, there are 20 emails saying "Socialbu has disconnected"
Update 2: I have fully refunded socialpoo and have purchased adaptlypost instead

Edited Oct 12, 2026Patrick, I’m sorry for how I handled this and for the delay after I said we would match the new Tier 4 limits.
Your SocialBu account has now been updated to the new Tier 4 allowance of 150 connected. You should not have had to keep following up after I committed to making that change.
When AppSumo changed Tier 4 from 75 connected accounts at $449 to 150 at $499, we initially treated them as two...
