It used to work fine early on shortly after buying it. Haven't used it for a while and the other day I get on & see a message that basically says "You cant do anything anymore & we deleted all your old data, and you cant connect any social accounts, but hey! You can Subscribe & upgrade for only $100 dollars a month”
Besides the fact you took our money for a service, bold of you to assume I even have a $100 a month & would even pay you after pulling the plug on us sumolings.
Why do yall think I purchased it on AppSumo in the first place?
Thanks for taking our money and leaving us stranded. At least next time, do us a favor and make it look like you went out of business.
Very disappointed. I purchased a lifetime deal since they said that was possible to monitor unlimited competitor. I didn't trust them from the beginning, but I've realized that, for my business, 100 competitors were enough.
A few weeks ago I started to read on my dashboard, while adding new profile: "Due to Facebook and Twitter rate limiting in the latest API updates you cannot add more profiles"
The only time I've succeded to get in touch with the customer care they said that it was because I was monitoring too many profiles (but weren't them unlimited?).
Anyway, I've deleted more than a half of the saved profile and... nothing changed. Still impossible talking to the customer care.
Even if I'am disposal to upgrade my plan, I do not have the pleasure to talk to anyone
This is an awesome tool and I use it almost every day. I love that I can spy on my competitors but also see how other successful pages in my niche approach their social media marketing.
I also like that I can take a fast look at my own pages' data, even posts from months and months ago. I've purchased a lot of deals through AppSumo and this is one of my favorites.
The insight for quite a few competitors is what I'm looking for at the moment, and Socialincider is doing well on the gathering data and the comparison(time saver!!!). I'm quite happy with what I just paid for, so be quick and get yours before it gone.
Comparing to other platforms I've used, this software doesn't have much functionality. It has less stats available and you can't download Twitter stats. Functionality is essentially limited to Facebook and even then SocialInsider doesn't exactly over-achieve.
