promising but ...

Ok, I have got really excited about this app as I wanted to replace privy for my shop, it promises so much and all good, however from my first experience nothing has been working ...

1. One year old guides... with so many changes lately they must be on top of things. If this is done right, the support time is reduced
- installing via GTM is not straight forward ... wasted so much time to install it (via both their template and customs html) and still not firing
- then I went to install the native shopify app, but it creates a free trial account and I can not seem to connect my ltd account (still waiting on support for that), plus the profile details can not be updated
- Facebook app setup - again, outdated guide, wasted time with support, sent videos and still not sorted.
2. I could not find instructions how to use my 5 different websites and manage them separately.
3. Support chat is slow as well, especially when you have to fix things and launch a campaign

By now, I am really frustrated and feel I am dealing with a beta application hence my low tacos. Unless I get the issues sorted soon, I will have to stick to privy as it has worked from the start without any issues.

Hey DV, thanks for sharing your thoughts and feedback with us.

Below my quick thoughts and answer to all your points, one by one.

1. GTM Installation
Regarding installation through GTM and why this does not seem to work for your website, as discussed over email, we are more than happy to troubleshoot this for you, should you share with us your GTM’s preview mode.

2. Use of our native integration with Shopify
As explained over email, since you have already activated your AppSumo license using an email that is not connected with your Shopify account, you will need to change your Socital username so that it matches with your Shopify contact email.
A small note here; if during your AppSumo license activation you used Shopify login this whole flow would be seamless for you.

3. Documentation for Facebook App creation
As explained over email, Facebook’s UI changes really often and sometimes we struggle to keep everything up to speed but we try our best. Hope the instructions I provided over email were helpful and guided you through the App creation process.

I’m really sorry for not currently offering a live chat option. The standard support response time that we offer to our clients is one business day. I do believe that we actively worked on responding to all your different issues over the course of the day, though.
