What went wrong with the offer?

I have no need for any more sliders but considered this more out of sympathy for the seller, then became more curious with the lackluster launch.

This would be a great study in marketing for Soliloquy and Appsumo and then share with those of us interested in the answers.

As a marketing aficionado, I would love to learn what went wrong.
