Q: Questions about setting up mutliple accounts

Hi,

I have 2 small bsuiness and rent-out a property.

600 bank statement transactions would be sufficient across all 3 use cases.

QUESTIONS:

1. Can I create as many sub-accounts as I need (in my case: SmallBiz1, SmallBiz2, PropertyRental)

2. When I buy 2 codes, is the "600 bank statement transactions " limit shared across all 3 sub-accounts

3. Can I share the sub-accounts with any other use who has a free account for them to upload the receipts?

I am not sure how accounts, users, bank-statement limits etc. work together.
Please help.

I have been one of the first users of receipt-bank now dext over 12 years ago so I know this kind of product very well and can confirm that this sort of solution is a DREAM for any small business owner working with an external accountant. If this is in any way similar then this is a MUST-HAVE-DEAL.

A: Hi,

Thanks for the questions:

1. Yes you can.
2. Also yes, the credits are shared and useable across the subaccounts. Also meaning that the cap is across all the accounts.
3. Yes, but this requires you to consume a user seat to invite them into the account. As a side note, they will also only gain visibility & access to the single (sub)account you invite them to. They will also have any Pro features only within your account, and their own account will remain free.

Since you mentioned Dext, we are definitely an alternative. We are very similar in some aspects but different in others. They have the advantage of kazillion added integrations and accountant relations, but otherwise I feel that platform is slow (to scan), expensive and quite clunky. They market themselves directly via accountants (which is smart, but crowded), while we aim to be more approachable toward the small business owner directly and invest heavily in SEO & ASO instead of selling in bulk.

That went on a tangent, but hopefully you got your answers! :)

Best Regards,
Antti
