Q: Refund transactions
It seems to me that SparkReceipt cannot handle a refund invoice and record it in QuickBooks. Am I wrong?

That is correct. Another notable omission from the first version of QBO integration is unpaid invoices (Bill records). We'll support these as soon as we add the equivalent functionality to SparkReceipt.
