I don't usually leave many reviews on the products I buy but this product deserves an early review.
I have courses that I hosted on wordpress with thrive apprentice and a mmebership plugin.
I was very happy, but I had to keep updating and then I was wasting time organizing pages and fixing problems.
I often look at the offers of platforms for online courses on appsumo, but none have ever convinced me.
Then came gurucan.
Graphically it was not beautiful and had many problems, but in the end it had the bare minimum and above all there was the smartphone app, so I bought it.
I made a switch on gurucan.
Graphically I lost a lot but I was happy.
The problems came when I gave customers access.
I have very long videos, over an hour and 2-3gb.
In my tests everything worked fine, but for some customers it didn't.
They always got stuck.
The youtube videos on the other hand no, so it was a server problem.
I had seen acadle as another solution, I tried it several times with a free account, but there was no feeling, there was not what I wanted.
Then by chance I saw this offer.
I waited a while because there were no reviews on the net.
Then I saw that it is a company that has existed for some years.
So without thinking twice I made the purchase.
The thing I did not imagine is that I can also put videos from amazon S3 and the links are blacked out.
I uploaded a course and gave access to the client who complained the most.
He gave me great feedback.
Being able to have the videos where I want is also important, because I don't depend on their servers.
Now I'll have to finish fixing the site, it will take several days, but I'm happy because it's very customizable.
There will probably be negative things and in case I will update the review.
At the moment I feel like saying that this is one of the best platforms for online courses to appear on appsumo.
And being able to host videos wherever I want is a great advantage, other platforms limit you a lot from this point of view.
