Very raw and buggy software - early beta
Spayee was one of my most anticipated software deals, and had high hopes for it to replace Teachable. I have seen the product taken a severe nose dive in terms of offering, features, and quality - from around February 2021 till now (middle of July). Initially, the product was offering built in hosting, but then decided to drop it.
Internally, the UI was excellent, but around March / April Spayee team decided to redesign it or dumb it down. With this redesign a lot of bugs were introduced. Before things were working like charm, but very sadly - functionality was intentionally limited, and bugs introduced.
I gave the platform a spin - bugs are everywhere. From the poor performance - it takes >60 seconds to display the list of page builder widgets, to other bugs all over the place, such as the "home" link in the editor taking a user back to the homepage, not back to the admin interface.
The quality of the product is sadly early beta, as there are many other issues and fundamental limitations. They include:
1. Inability to send emails from the domain that is different than the domain that you have registered when you have done the redemption. Really? Not even custom smtp?
2. Lack of relevant integrations. integrately is on the roadmap, but not in place. All the rest of the integrations are irrelevant to the North American market
3. Bugs.. I mentioned them..
4. Video storate not included.. but not a big deal (Vadoo is great!)
5. Lack of meaningful SMS providers/direct integration with Twilio.. but there are some useless providers that seem to serve only India
6. Custom pages need to exist not at the root, but at some weird suffix /s/pages/about .. really? Why is that?
7. While some "geeky" documentation exists for the single sign-on, it is virtually useless. When I asked Spayee folks to write an easy to follow guide how to integrate single sign on with the Wordpress (something that nearly all of the AppSumo customer base will benefit), they mentioned it is not a priority.
I was tempted to give a 2 taco rating.. but the platform simply has too much promise. And in February the platform was 6 tacos out of 5 in my books.
#6 and #7 are real pain. Please fix them, as well as all other items, and my rating will go back to 6 tacos.

Thank you for the detailed review. We have always appreciated your feedback ever since we have been interacting :)
I would like to address your concerns here :
1. This is now possible. You can enter any domain in the custom email domain set-up for sending unlimited transactional emails. For other integrations, we are adding Pabbly. 2. We will be continuously adding new integrations for the global market.
3. All reported bugs have been resolved :)
4. We have provided support for Vadoo tv and other popular video hostings in-app and website.
5. Again, global integrations are part of our product plan.
6. We are already working on changing (and providing flexibility) to change custom page and course prefix URLs. This will be live soon.
7. Yes. Documentation needs to be improved and it's an ongoing process.
When we decided to remove video hosting, we added support for embeddable videos like Vadoo tv, especially for the community. This community has given us so much feedback and love for our product, we will always to grateful to them.
