Kudos to AppSumo for refunding credits as per their policy on AppSumo Select products shut down within 12 months from purchase. Handling these sort of cases with class are why I continue to spend money on the platform.

I will not, however, forget the names of these founders - who obviously thought it clever to use Speechki as a decoy to drain capital on AppSumo, shut the service down, and reinvest that money into Audioland. Y'all ain't slick, and I hope someone more ambitious than me investigates further and pursues legal action.

In case anyone wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, remember that if their intentions were ever good, they COULD have offered Sumolings free LTD access to Audioland that they are all conveniently co-founders of together as well. But nah, we got an email saying "Sorry, we're shutting down in 24 hours. Thanks for your money" (paraphrased). Do better.
