Q: Created a question/comments earlier today but it has not appeared so going to I'll try again.

This could be a great app if it works at advertised and has meaningful integrations. There are too many apps that advertise 100s or 1000s of integrations but most of the integrations are so simple and minimalistic that they are really worthless. I am looking for quality integrations over quantity. I regularly utilize Formidable Forms (FF) and ActiveCampaign (AC) on all our sites so this could be a great help.

I bought one code and began testing. I built a simple FF form to add contacts with an integration to AC. All looked good until I got to the AC integration. I saw only one option, "Add Contact To List", which happened to be what I was testing. Unfortunately this option only allowed for the basic AC fields, email, first name, last name, phone. None of our customized AC fields (city, state, etc.) showed up, which was disappointing. But what was unbelievable is that I cannot find a way to add AC "tags" to the contact being added in AC, which is critical for many reasons. Maybe I am missing something.

I used the "Support" link in the plugin and it gets an ERROR 1000 from Cloudflare. Is there another way to get a hold of support to ask specific questions? Do you have any details available for each app integration that lists what type of integrations are available?

Honestly, you could have something really good here but it is starting to look like another "quantity over quality" integration app. Having a single integration option with a powerhouse app like ActiveCampaign is a let down for sure, but not allowing tags to be added, the key to unlocking AC's automation power, would be a deal breaking for anyone wanting to integrate with AC.

We hope you can access support and find out more details.

Thank you for your valuable feedback, and for testing the integration.

We do support hundreds of app endpoints, so there is a quantitative aspect simply due to the vast nature of SaaS apps. The Sperse.io platform is extensible and demand-driven. Our client feedback is prioritized, so specific requests are incorporated in new releases. For AC extended fields can be supported. Please provide any specific input that would be important.

Our support site is now accessible and is in the process of an upgrade with new content being pushished. You can reach our support team via chat for any questions.

Boy, we sure wanted to have this app work out. We write our own integrations now using the APIs of the apps we use, but we would love to use a tool and keep the dev people on other things. But it appears from the lack usefulness of your ActiveCampaign integration, that those doing the integrations are simply trying to add as many apps as possible to the list of "Integrations", regardless if they really solve any real world problems for customers.

You have a great concept but you really should look at understanding the use cases for the apps you are "Integrating" with. Of course this takes time and now that you've launched the dev team is under the gun to check off as many integrations as possible, no matter how useless they might be in the real world.

Maybe some of your other integrations are more significant and useful than your ActiveCampaign integration. But the huge miss on that one does not leave us a lot of hope. Just maybe we're judging too harshly, but maybe not.

Wish you well on the road ahead, but we'll refund and just watch over the next year or two, as we should have done with a few other "integration" apps here. If you get it right we'll be back.
