I'm a software engineer that regularly used very popular and expensive uptime monitoring and reporting at my day job.

I was VERY impressed at how easy it was to get set up on Spike.sh. Within 10 minutes of purchasing I had uptime monitoring, on call rotations, and Datadog event alerting through the Spike webhooks. Tested and got text messages instantly. Very nice indeed.

Feeling so much more confident about my projects if they go down now that I have this software.

Added all the websites that we manage and got a phone call when one of them was down. Looks like a tech issue with our hosting company that I didn't know about.

It's also simple enough that my entire company can use it. You don’t have to be an engineer to make the best of this deal.

I have a small web development services firm and need website checking and alerting to know about problems. I like that I can set it and forget it, but it will send me a notification when there is a problem.

The tool is easy to set up and the design is pleasing.

Things I like about Spike
- Quick set up of website monitors
- I can fix incidents from Slack without going to their dashboard
- Ability to add multiple people to alert policy, that way I know someone will end up looking at a serious issue.
- I love that I can see the history of what happened with an incident including who was alerted, what action they took etc.

Things that can be better
- Integration between website check and status page is not there right now, but it looks like they plan to build this in the future
- I want more options for customizing the status page

I love that Spike alerts me as soon as my website goes down. Our business has faced complaints from customers about service issues so its good that we can fix them before customers start noticing.

The tool also has integrations with many other products and some are even being used by our software team. Its helpful to have the option to connect other tools in the future. Quite honestly its a steal for the one time price.

I can get a phone call alert whenever one of our websites is down. That’s so useful!

They also have a great Slack feature and integrate with many other monitoring tools. It all looks straightforward to set up using the templates.

I bought this and I'm very impressed with the product so far. Setting up a few websites to monitor was really easy. I love that I can create different teams to separate the work for different clients.

I wanted to check out their mobile app, and they told me that it will be released soon. Pleasantly surprised by their support as well. I've even set up a demo to learn more about the other features.
