Frustrated
Companies fail all the time and they often have to pivot when the market doesn't bear their product, that's understandable. I have purchased LTDs before where the company pivots away from the underlying service and creates new offerings, but the difference is that those companies have continued to honor the LTDs they sold. Spoke has not folded, they have pivoted, but they have let down their customers with how they have handled the situation. Spoke unceremoniously cancelled the service many of us purchased in favor of some new offering that nobody wanted. It's rough when you're relying on a tool and it starts to malfunction with no apparent underlying cause, and while I don't wish failure on anyone, at least that would excuse the behavior of this company. Hopefully they look back on this decision, take it as an error in judgement, and learn from it. As for me, I'll be wary of any project Lazare is on, and I guess I'll note from now on that LTDs are only LTDs if the cash grab lives up to founders' expectations.
