Good one, but needs some features for productivity

Spoke is a really great alternative to Otter.ai for transcribing your conversations. It also comes with subtitling mechanism, more on this later.

VIDEO REVIEW šŸ“¹ - https://youtu.be/vqf6-D4r8Us 🌟

It is for you if:

šŸ‘‰ You do a lot of team meeting and would like to transcribe the things you discussed to a searchable format. Really good for organizing organizational knowledge. It creates virtual mics and speakers for usage with Zoom app too. And dynamic real-time meeting highlight also good. Hold on the highlight button in the app as you speak the important part of the meeting, the highlight will be applied auto-magically in post for that section. It saves a ton of time while creating meeting highlights.

šŸ‘‰ You have a lot of long videos from which you need to grab small clips from and form short hybrid videos for your social repurposing. Their video summarization feature is legit! But sometimes the cuts will be rough, okay for team meetings but not for publishing - so they can have timeline XML download for refining the cuts in post-production maybe? But come on, you can always work around and have some buffer.

šŸ‘‰ You would like to convert your YouTube videos to blog posts easily with a regular VA not a content writer.

Many people are comparing this to HappyScribe. No let me give you by pointers here.

āš–ļø The transcription speed of Spoke is is twice as fast of Happy Scribe

āš–ļø The accuracy is better than Happy Scribe at least for my fairly neutralized Indian accent

āš–ļø The proofreading features of Happy Scribe like Search Replace (big one) and red fonts of common AI typos, and others are present in Spoke

Another downside would be UI/UX, a good room for improvement.

Also, subtitle limit and timecode sync is not present. In case of Spoke, you have just a plain download button for subtitles

Looking to invest only for subtitles, say no to this.

Looking to transcribe team meetings, videos, etc. get this.

They have good accuracy and also you can also convert monthly machine translation hours to professional transcription hours A HUGE VALUE.

I'm seeing a future in this tool.
