I'm honestly blown away
Yup, I'm honestly blown away by Spoke, it's simplicity and it's usability. I compared many plans, prices and such in the AI transcription market, and I genuinely feel this is an amazing deal for anyone who needs transcriptions, and who works with videos/subtitles/educational material. And for those writers/authors who don't like to sit behind their computer all day to write their book/article as well! Go for a walk in nature, and simply use your voice recorder and give the AI a bit of help by using proper pronunciation.
The quality of the transcriptions is also very good, in my experience. Yes, it needs manual correction here and there, sometimes more when it is a bad recording, or when the pronunciation is bad and such - but so what? I'm saving a lot of time and money as well, compared to other AI transcription services. I tried a few, and Spoke did a better job for Dutch. I did not compare any English transcription.
Sure, some minor bugs need to be ironed out/fine-tuned in the app. I could not download yet the app to record my voice on my laptop - it simply did not happen. The service was also offline for a couple hours due some data-base error. But what to expect? I mean, this marketplace is there for early bird adaptors of software in-the-making. It's not yet 100% ready, but this does not make me less excited. Support is responsive, their roadmap is promising, and having Spoke, for this LTD, could be a game changer for my workflow in regards to writing articles, making educational video trainings & transcribing audio. I haven't yet experimented with the video editing option, but I assume this will work great as well.
So, that's why I give 5 tacos, and I hope they will fulfill their roadmap & promises. I'm considering now an upgrade to the next Tier.
