Overview

Spott allows you to create interactive content, publish it to different channels, and track its success along the way.

To get started, you can quickly upload your product images by connecting your product feed to your Spott account.

Not only does this save you precious time (that you could be using to record your true crime podcast), but it also helps ensure accurate prices and product availability.

Don’t want to connect your product feed? You’ve even got the option to create products manually within Spott.

Get started by linking a product feed or creating a product manually.

Your visitors need to click to engage with your content, so it’s no secret that interactive images are the key to turning visitors into customers.

With Spott, adding interactivity to your images and videos is as easy as dragging-and-dropping the functionality onto the content.

Include interactive elements like calls-to-action, links, and tagged products to encourage viewers to take a specific action on your content.

Adding interactivity to your images and videos is as simple as drag-and-drop.

Spott makes it simple to customize interactive elements, like buttons.

Select the button style and shape, plus choose text and button colors that align with your branding.

And voila! You’ve got an interactive element that blends seamlessly with your branded site or social media channels.

Select a style that fits your branding, click preview, and publish!

Once you’ve created interactive images or video content, it’s time to reveal them with the world.

With just a click of a button, Spott makes it easy to embed the image on your website, create a Google Display Ad, generate a GIF, or download the source content for your followers to enjoy.

You also have the option to share the content on Pinterest, Facebook, or Instagram Stories.

Publish and share interactive content across social channels with the click of a button.

With all the different images, videos, channels, and products you have to keep track of, Spott’s Behavioral Insights tool makes it easy to see what’s actually working for your brand.

Get important insights into which content is performing best with the ability to look at impressions, interactions, clicks, and click-through rates (CTRs).

Drill down by channel, content type, product, time, and location to better understand what factors are driving conversions.

Get behavioral data on website visitors to see how your interactive content performs.

Consumers expect content that makes their lives easier (that, and free swag — we get it).

Q: The release of subaccounts earlier this month March 2021, do not take into consideration the accrued credits ...

and its only possible to allocate credits-codes-interactions for a single particular month, so the accrued credits that have accumulated overtime, cannot be used in subaccounts.
This is a big error in the system which has already been reported to Spott.

Hoping this is rectified-fixed very soon as there´s been a lot of waiting for subaccounts credit allocation feature to be ready-live.

Thanks

Q: sorry - I have searched about sub-accounts and found this but i need info specifically to the appsumo deal - https://help.

spott.ai/en/articles/4447706-using-multiple-companies-for-agencies

Can I use multiple accounts irrespective of the number of codes, or do I have to have bought a minimum number of codes to make this work?

Thank you

A: hi heyoliver

You can use subaccounts from 1 code on.
All codes are Business licenses where subaccounts is included.

Q: Hi, I just fully stacked your product as I believe it has a huge potential.

Do you have use cases that are not strictly for apparel e-commerce – ideally for digital products (getting email subscribers, redirects to free resources, etc)?

I have some ideas on how to use Spott, but would be great to see how your current clients are using it right now (the examples on your website seem to be all related to apparel/accessories). It would be a shame to refund it just cause I cannot find a use case that maybe you know already exists and I believe it would be interesting for others as well.

Also, I understand you created a plugin for YouTube to have interactivity there, but honestly it seems quite useless if users have to download the plugin. Do you think there is any way to have a direct integration in the future with YouTube or is it a lost cause?

Thanks!

A: Hi Frabz

Do not hesitate to reach out via chat. We'll give you some examples based on your specific request.
Concerning Youtube.com. This is a stepbystep approach. We are talking to Google (we were successful in the Marketing Innovation Program of Google) and already made GDN & DV360 interactive.

The plugin serves to fetch enough data so that Google can see if, how (much) and for whom it makes to most difference. As we have been talking with Google directly, for sure not a lost cause.

Kind regards
Michel

Q: @Michel_Spott, I am coming in pretty late to the game as I had never heard of Spott before until the "Last Call" promo!

I browsed around, but most likely missed it.

1) What are the credits and how are they used because that's the only variable I see from plan/code to code ;-)?

2) Could you please (re-) confirm how the credits accumulate and expire over time?

Example: For 1 Code which has 1,000 credits, here's my understanding:
1) 1,000 credits available every month
2) Unused credits rollover and accumulate for 12 months
3) At the start of the 13th month, we will have the 1,000 credits from the 1st month at the start of account will expire BUT we will get the new 1,000 credits added to our account.
4) Same thing as #3 above will happen on the 14th month (the 2nd month of the 2nd year) and so on.

Thank you,
Anil

A: Hi Anil

Thanks for your interest. Please see inline.

1) What are the credits and how are they used because that's the only variable I see from plan/code to code ;-)?
--> Our pricing is a no cure/no pay: credits are spent when users are interacting with your content...we only get paid when value is created for you. That spend is based on clicks or hovers.
For certain interactivity options, you can choose to allow users to hover to show more info (only desktop-based). When that person clicks, it remains 1 credit (1 hover + 1 click = 1 credit).
You can find more info here: https://support.spott.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360052397812-How-Spott-calculates-interactions

2) Could you please (re-) confirm how the credits accumulate and expire over time?
Credits that are not used accumulate. The oldest credits are always spent first (FIFO).

--> Correct!

Q: Where can I see this in action?

On your website, I only see videos and images about it but not the actual feature for me to experience itself. On your Facebook page, you also don't have any of the content.
