Spott.ai seemed promising for interactive content creation but ended in disappointment with its shutdown scheduled for July 5, 2024, following its bankruptcy and acquisition by Publitas.

Key Issues:
1) Poor Communication:
- Lack of clear updates post-bankruptcy.
- Only recent clear email from Publitas regarding the shutdown.
2) Data & Content Loss:
-Manual and time-consuming data export process.
3) No Alternatives:
- Publitas provided no compensation or alternative solutions.
- Decision to shut down services despite customer dependency.

Companies need to understand the impact of their decisions on their users.
Disappointing end for what could have been a great tool. Future supporters and investors, beware.

The Spott.ai technology was acquired by Publitas after the bankruptcy of 07 March 2023 of the entity Spott N.V. (fiscal identity BE0543611457).

Publitas takes all the design, tech and knowhow from the Spott product and puts it into another product and thereafter kills Spott resulting in me losing a 2.200 USD investment!

We're writing to tell you that your Spott.ai services will shut down on 5th July 2024, after which the system, any data or content will be inaccessible.

Here's what you need to know:
How can I export my performance data?
Log in to Spott.ai
Select the ‘Dashboard’ option from the menu
Filter the date period as required
Click the ‘export as CSV’ cloud button in the top right of the screen

Please also keep in mind that our Support Team is not able to export data on your behalf.

Can I download the content I created in Spott.ai?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to download any content created in Spott.ai

What is my alternative for creating interactive content?

I have enjoyed using Spott and had planed to use it much more in the future. However I am sorry to see that it is being shut down on 5 July 2024, so I won't be able to use it anymore.

I liked this product and had planned to use it much more in the future, however I have just received an email telling me that the site and service will be shut down on the 5 Jul 2024.

Spott.ai has gone bankrupt, so I'm not aware that anything can be done. They mention that they've sold the technology but nothing more.

I just bought this, and am kind of excited to dive into it. what caught my eye was the ability to add a buy button and show off your selected products from within your store. So far from poking around it seems like a very functional program. I was looking for a solution, to my Iframe Idea and I believe this will fit just nicely.
