Easy.
I was impressed by how easy it is to create a simple shopping store. I have been using woocommerce to sell products. After ten years of use, I am tired of fighting with hackers, and there are tons of chances my sites are down. So, I was looking at some other solutions. I think using WordPress is the best as a blog site. So I use it only for the blogs PBN sites now.
SpreadSimple allows using the Google Sheet to create your store. Just update and sync. I designed a website with Brizy Cloud and embedded SpreadSimple into the website. It works just perfectly.
If you are an affiliate marketer and dropshipper, Spreadsimple will be a good solution.
I am thinking of getting more codes.
But, why 4 tacos?
- Stocks (Quantity) are not updating automatically after receiving orders. I must use a third-party webhook for the auto-updates. I am going to test KonnectzIT
- The spreadsheet is not saved on my Google Drive, and I can't give permission to another person to edit. That means I will be the only person to update everything. I work for my sites + clients' sites. I really hope there is some solution for this.
- Google sheet is public view mode. Everyone who has the link will view it. I was thinking of adding a private note on the sheet, and I just realized I shouldn't
- It's on the roadmap, but no coupon codes can be added.
- And, I hope to add at least one more button right next to the buy button.
- I hope I can use mp4 video instead of Youtube
- A little more customizable on the details page.
- Allow choosing a different color on Badges.
It's not a fully ready platform yet, but I see a huge potential. I will stack more codes and wait :)

May 9, 2024Hey there,
Thank you for taking the time to write us a review! And we’re glad to see you enjoyed working with SpreadSimple.
I’d also like to comment on a few things you mentioned to bring more clarity and respond to your concerns.
1. Stock quantity update is currently on the user’s side only because SpreadSimple can not edit the data in your Sheet and it doesn’t ask for access to your Google Drive. But we understand the importance of this feature and we’re considering different approaches to implement it in the future.
2. When you create a new website by using a template, a copy of the template source Sheet is generated for you and transferred to your account so you should be able to see it in your Google Drive. You should also receive an email confirming the transfer of ownership. And of course, you can invite as a collaborator anyone you want to share access with.
Perhaps you used another account when you opened your Sheet? This could happen if you have more than one Google account.
3. We require the public view mode so SpreadSimple applications can read and display the data from your Sheet on the website. But your Google Sheets link is not exposed anywhere on the website and it’s not possible to trace it back. Still, we wouldn’t recommend storing any sensitive data on the Sheets that you’re using as the database.
4. It is possible to add a secondary button in the Content Tab. Please refer to this help article for more guidance: https://help.spreadsimple.com/en/article/mapping-your-sheet-data-to-website-elements-q1fgsr/#3-how-to-manage-action-buttons
5. We don’t store your content (images and videos) and we don’t have a built-in video player. That’s why we require videos to be hosted either on YouTube or Vimeo.
6. Check out our Online Courses template https://spreadsimple.com/templates/online-courses/
It showcases a different approach to details page configuration. Also, the Text element supports HTML and markdown so you can embed forms, videos, maps etc onto your details pages.
7. It’s possible to change the badge colors with custom CSS code. You will find the necessary code in this help article: https://help.spreadsimple.com/en/article/adding-badges-1xf834/
Hope our answers will help you to get a deeper understanding of how SpreadSimple works. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns, we’ll be more than happy to answer them all! :)
