Q: SQR.co changing QR code links to SQR.link?
Anyone else had this happen? My clients QR code cards have stopped working but were working fine. The code showing up when scanning a QR code says SQR.link. Eh?
These used to work.
Was this an URL they used to own and lost? What the F happened. Have some very angry clients.
DuffdaddyPLUSIt appears they must have owned the sqr.link address at some point - if you jump on the Way Back Machine you can see it was set up as a redirect to SQR.co (and another branded version of the same).
So they must have lost control of it or have changed business models to a crappy directory page that charges for traffic or clicks?
Anyway.... DON"T BUY THIS PRODUCT as it's no longer reliable or safe
DuffdaddyPLUSIn addition, there overall arching business Affordable Software has also vanished along with its other services that were connected to SQR.co, so their website tracking tool, etc. have all vanished from the web.
So assume they've either just buggered off or gone broke or run off because... who knows. Not replying to emails for support. Not sorting out broken links on SQR.
What a massive LET DOWN.
