Total Scam. Owner asked for additional money. Closed my account without permission
Dave, the owner - is a scam artist. I'm not sure what he doesn't understand about AppSumo not being a contractual agreement.
I purchased this as a Lifetime Deal. A couple months ago, Dave sent an email to users saying he was going to close down the business . . . unless users forked over more money.
Since I purchased as a LTD, I did not pay any additional money. So without my knowledge, he closed my account. I've emailed several times to have it reinstated, and did not get a reply.
The platform is still in business - in fact, Dave expanded to offering an 'Agency' version now.
If this deal ever comes back to AppSumo, or any rebranded version of it, avoid at all cost.

I actually purchased SQR because I was in need of a link shortener. But boy was I blown away by this tool. It got me hooked from the first login and I've been playing around for at least half an hour enjoying the possibilities this gem has to offer. The UI is nice and to the point. I like it, and it seems to be getting better even considering the announced plans. The site is fast and resposive (in the double meaning). It works perfect on my mobile device as well. You can create custom QR codes and really style them to your needs and desires. Codes can be grouped in project folders so you will not get lost in the huge amounts of codes you generate. A cool feature is that you can repurpose a QR-code, by just changing the link. They also provide an API, but I didn't try that yet. In short: go get it. Super deal (no I'm not paid to write this. Just an enthusiastic user).

At the first moment I was confused with the similarities to another QR Tool I own, but Dave helped me out and gave me a lot of information. SQR is very good at the moment, and I am looking forward to the further improvements that are expected for July :) So: 5 Tacos for SQR, 5 extra tacos for the great and kind support. Best, Lars
