I love the Squid Hub application. It has completely changed how I run my projects. It's so simple to use and yet so effective in managing the tasks. Adding, updating, and running with the tasks is a breeze. Simplicity is the key here. Basically add the task, add date, select teammate, and select if it's a repeatable daily/weekly/monthly or not repeatable task. Now go to the calendar and start working on each task one by one. You are on track, teammates are on track. Files are there, links are there, messages are there. even video chat is right there. Everything is well organized and running smoothly. If some task falls behind, you can easily catch up to it and finish it as a priority.
Even though I love the app, I haven't been able to reach out to support. Not sure what's going on that front. Hope so all well. Would love the shout out from the SquidHub team.
I have purchased and subscribed to lots of other project management tools on the market and have always had difficulties keeping my clients interested. Not anymore!!
First let me say that I love the simplicity of this app but at times is a little bit too much. One of my major gripes with it that it feels very "dated" in terms of modern practices. For example - I cannot just "copy image" from my browser and paste it as a task/preview/ or in the chat. I have to manually download the image and upload it which is sooo 2010.
My second gripe is again with images - there is no way to see preview of the image as a thumbnail in the files or in the ToDo section. Which again, is very odd decision because everybody else has this function and also is much simple and clean to preview a image instead of having to click every single one.
My third gripe is browser notification. I don't know if it's just me, but I don't get native chrome browser notifications on my Laptop when something happens. I find this odd but it may be just me.
Suggestions -
1. Definitely think about the images implementation, for the moment this is a major, major drawback.
2, Recurrent (nagging) email reminders will skyrocket you to the league of apps like Todoist and such. Just google "nagging email notifications" - everybody loves them and still only handful of apps offer them, this is your chance to stand out from the crowd and give your future clients what they really want but almost nobody listened.
3. Keep it simple, I know that sounds weird after all my suggestions but I really do believe that you should keep it simple, just expand a little bit more, so the platform is more "user friendly"
Users love visuals, users love their reminders, that's what they want. They want something to remind them to finish their work, and not just once, but multiple times. Just look at the thousands of requests for such features at Microsoft ToDo's
I've purchased Squidhub couple of days ago thinking it's another Project management tool on AS. And it kinda is, but also it's combined with Chat feature (which I'm missing in Ora.pm till today). It's v. simple and lacks more advanced features than previous Project Management deals had, but it's ok as you can start using this system within 5 mins. There's absolutely no learning curve, you can just start adding your tasks and projects straight away, cause the UI is so intuitive. I'm thinking of using SH as my main go to app when it comes to managing my daily tasks due to it's clarity. Sometimes Less is More - and in this case - it's 100% true.
This service is absolutely amazing. It has bridged so many work efforts and so many people. I have 4 running projects with a lot of people rolling in and the user interface is so easy for them to pick up and go. They hit the ground running with the project rather than spending time on how to navigate the project solution. Could it have more functionality? Yes. Does it really need it? Not for a lot of projects....
If you need something where everyone can see tasks, who is doing what, collaboration docs/spreadsheets and a running tab on critical communication then this is it. So much better than just trying to use email and a google smartsheet.

And for almost 3 years nobody listened. You can snag a big chunk of that userbase if you take advantage of this situation :)
Anyways, keep the good work and good luck! :)
