Would be happy to hear how you think the redemption could be less confusing.
We thought that it would be quite straightforward to go to squidhub.com/appsumo, add an email address and the code to create a user account. And just repeat these steps for other users that you'd like to upgrade. Apparently, we now understand that that's not too obvious, so any input/feedback would be happily received :)

The onboarding video should indeed be possible to Skip ;) Seems like the "Skip" button has gone hiding under "Help" option. We'll provide an update to this shortly.

A demo group is create :) Well yes... this is in order to avoid starting from a blank canvas, so you can get a feel of how the application would work when there's content inside the group. And yes... it does include a SquidBot. The SquidBot will automatically leave once the second member joins the group. Since this first group is simply a demo group, you can also just decide to leave it (from the group settings) - and start creating a new group. Simply treat it as a quick "Welcome" to SquidHub so you can see how things work :)

Good point regarding "why do I need to upgrade". You of course shouldn't. If you refresh the browser after creating your account, you should see all Premium features activated. We are working on an update to make the application refresh, to avoid any confusion as to whether the account has been upgraded or not.
