Q: Is there a tutorial on how we can switch from Yoast-free to Squirrly?
Or would you recommend to use both side by side?
I use Yoast mainly for writing titles and descriptions in the post itself. Also for noindexing some posts and pages.
What is the recommended approach here?
Thank you!

Jun 27, 2024A: Hey, Sumo-ling! We appreciate your interest in Squirrly SEO.

^^ you can do this with Squirrly as well.
In case you want to switch, we have an Import feature that allows you to import all SEO Snippet optimizations (Title, Description, OG, TC) from Yoast.
^^ (more details here: https://howto.squirrly.co/kb/import-export-seo-settings/)
If you want to use the two plugins together, we have a video that you should check out:
^^ The important part of the video is where Florin shows which modules should be deactivated in Squirrly SEO to make this work.
Hope this helps. :)
Thank you for your response.
So just to be clear, I install Squirrly, import the Yoast settings, deactivate Yoast, and everything will work as before? Including the noindex settings? No Google problems afterward?
Thanks again!
The import includes noindex and nofollow settings. :)
