Q: I got this terrific AppSumo Stackable LTD but clearly am too much of a novice to make it work on Mac OS Mojave.

This is clearly a brilliant option at a price that only AppSumo gets.

Before I bail on this if I were eventually to figure out to activate and upload it, can you avoid installing products like MAMP, XAMMP and get and install a Wordpress site directly from the Stackable platform?

I've lined up hosting via AppSumo's Barkweb offer and have a domain set up.

Hey!

You can't avoid it, but there are now more solutions available to get WordPress installed locally in your system. Try Local by Flywheel, it's easier to set up and it's what I personally use to develop Stackable ☺️

That's a good solution. Turns out that Stackable hadn't acted on my purchase but I still have the issue of downloading WordPress first as I don't think I can install it from Stackable. Once I get it installed I know that Stackable is an awesome product. Some of what they can is superior to many websites I see around that they paid thousands to develop.

Problem installing Wordpress solved by the other LTD deal for hosting by Barkweb and it had nothing to do with Stackable compatibility.

As soon as my Barkweb hosting was set up - and with a little help from the neighbour's son - the Wordpress install was done from Barkweb's site and that was a workaround. I'm not even a novice here lol.
