Q: User Questions for Stackable
I just bought the 4 tier lifetime license for unlimited sites. I just started using the plugin as a free version and am quite liking it.
So I have a license for unlimited websites, correct?
Is it the same license key all the time? If so, is it the one in my account? If not, how do I generate a new license?
Do I have to always install that downloadable plugin on each site to get the premium version? Is there a way to just put in an activation key in the regular plugin from the wordpress store?
If this is the case, is it best to just keep that file somewhere, or do I need to redownload it from my account page?
Are updates going to automatically get pushed to this if i enable auto updates, or am I going to have to constantly redownload the newest plugin file and update that way?

Aug 1, 2025A: Hello! Thanks for the questions! Regarding the license keys: yes, you have 1 license key, and it's the same one you use for all your installations. There is no generation of new ones. So can use your license key to activate again and again across websites.
About the downloadable plugin: you will have to install the premium version - this can be the one found in the email you got from us when you started, or from your account if you log in from our website wpstackable.com/account . The plugin in the WordPress directory is the free version which has less capabilities than the premium one. The premium plugin should have the name "(premium)" on it when you view your list of plugins in your WordPress admin.
To add the premium version in new sites, you can either keep installing the one you have, then updating it; or redownload the one from your account page and install that (and update if there is one).
Enabling auto-updates will automatically update the premium plugin when we have releases.
