Raindrop and Stacks differentiate in the fundamentals and focus. Raindrop and Stacks both supports link saving, management, highlights etc. (Highlights coming to Stacks next week). However, Raindrop is very matured product in the category of bookmark management. Stacks is a new kid on the block with fundamental focus on Search and retrieval without need for manual organization. We do support few features for organizations, but our main focus is retrieval without massive behavior change or human input.
We love Raindrop, we used it for many years. We had almost 2k bookmarks on Raindrop, that's where organizing managing didn't quite work for us as we would never go back to bookmarks saved even last week. Thus, we started building a search engine that works default with any search engines.
