hakQ: Why did you decide to close STAGESET for good?
Another good piece of software is leaving AppSumo for good! Why are you leaving your first Sumoling supporters? Isn't it dishonest to wait until the end of the 12-month refund warranty to declare such a decision?

We have been working on Stageset already 1.5 years before Appsumo and now after three years we have to accept, that finding regular paying users is a lot harder than we thought.
We invested three years of no salary into this app plus a significant cash investment but didn't manage to generate the kind of traction that will make this startup viable.
The Appsumo community was a great support and brought a lot of ideas and wishes, but in the end we didn't manage to convert this energy into MRR that pays the bills.
I hope that you can understand why we are closing down and that it hurts us to do so a lot more than it does yourself.
