Q: I want to know how AWS credits work?
Will it stay forever in my account after redeeming in AWS? Will be I able to pay off for my server and hosting from this $5000?? Please Explains!

May 14, 2024A: Our understanding is that the credits remain with your account, however we cannot confirm whether the credits would somehow be revoked at some future date. I'd hate for you to have the credit now and somehow lose it in the future.

Your AWS Activate Credits are automatically applied against your monthly bill.
Q: Can I use my AWS Activate Credits to cover bills I received prior to application of the credit?
No. The AWS Activate Credits can’t apply to any historical billing retroactively prior to application of the credit.
Q: How long are my AWS Activate Credits valid?
AWS Activate Credits are valid for up to two years. You can view the expiration date of your AWS Activate Credits on the Credits page of the AWS Billing and Cost Management console.
Q: Why is the expiration date of my AWS Activate Credits less than two years from the date I received my application approval email?
Not all AWS Activate Credits last two years from the date you receive your application approval email. To confirm when your AWS Activate Credits expire, review the information on the Credits page on the AWS Billing and Cost Management console.
@wll - could you confirm duration of the AWS credits please? - my application is pending (7-10) days, and if it's 12 months I'll increase instance resources lol
