Q: Great product. Can you provide any logic which can be used to filter for swing in NSE ?
I like the product but need some help based on your experience on filters which can help in getting BTST and swing trades picks . Can you suggest some stock picking conditions ?

Edited Sep 15, 2025A: Thank you so much for your thoughtful question and for being part of the Sterling Stock Picker community — we truly appreciate your interest!
At its core, Sterling Stock Picker isn’t specifically designed as a BTST (Buy Today, Sell Tomorrow) or swing-trading focused system. Our primary aim is to help investors identify fundamentally strong companies, understand market trends, and build confidence in their investing decisions through tools like the Northstar Ratings, customizable screeners, and portfolio tracking.
That said, many of our users do apply the system’s filters and technical metrics (such as RSI, moving averages, and volume trends) in ways that can support shorter-term trading strategies like swing trades. For NSE stocks specifically, you can experiment with combining these filters in the Pick Stocks screener to identify momentum-based opportunities that might align with swing trading goals.
While we don’t provide preset “swing trade” or “BTST” conditions, the flexibility of our screening tools means you can tailor the logic to your style. It may take a bit of experimenting, but the platform is designed to give you the building blocks you need.
We hope this gives you some clarity. And most of all, we want you to know how much we value your feedback — questions like yours help us better understand how our community wants to use Sterling Stock Picker, and that guides our future improvements.
Wishing you much success with your investing journey, and as always, happy investing! 🚀
Warm regards,
The Sterling Stock Picker Team
