Although it chooses well the images and videos and has helpful suggestions while changing the auto selected media (I mean prewritten words thought of in the context of the scene by the system), it can damage your video on the instant. The situation from this week: I created a video and 2 days later the system told me that there nearly 90% of the media "are no longer available".
Throughout 2 last years the same situation occured several times.
The biggest flaw is the export issue. 5 minute video has been being rendered for 4 days already! And this is after 1 failed export without a notification.
I give 1 star instead of 2 to let warn their normal users as well! I suppose they just do not want to waste money on us - Appsumo deal takers that won't bring profit anymore. @appsumo - make them pay.

Let me start by saying Steve.ai platform has the ability to be one of the best AI video generating editing platform.

Here are the things holding it back
1. The lack of social media scheuling/posting to social media channels
2. Lack luster editing capabilities and lack of templates and video animation editing.
3. Full of upsells
4. The founder has 3 other tools which should be 1 tool or at the very least steve.ai should have some core abilities like animaker and social media posting.
5.Very Bland live video footage and animation videos which leaves everything that is "Premium" an upsell.
6Lack Luster voice overs and the inability to download the audio or text script
7. The lack of Generative AI images and Scripts amongst other AI features like Ai voiceovers backround removals images and ai avatar characters.
8. Leave alot to be desired in general

Ive used both Pictory and Flexclip and both platform offers so much more than steve.ai with the ridiclous amounts of upsells involved and seperated SaaS platforms which makes absolutetly no sense from a practical standpoint but maybe it does from a quick business prospective.

I’ve used this since it launched last year, paid for it here. I have barely used it, probably 10 times since. And every single time I send a support email saying the rendering is slow, I get the usual response that the “video depends on many variables, including script length, download resolution, and the number of assets used in the project.”

For the latest one, I used a 1 minute script length, 1 asset repeatedly. At 720p resolution.

Then I was told that they “are prioritizing paid users queue in 3 out of 4 machines”.

So does this mean we AppSumo paid users aren’t prioritized?
And is there a plan to increase those 4 machines? I mean, I lot of your low ratings here points to the slow rendering, I believe since December of last year. It’s end of July and with your growth, you still use 4 machines knowing your user base and renders are higher?

Produces good videos in some seconds, quality depends on your text.
You have to work on the text of the scenes, if, for ex. you make blog to video, it does not produce automatically a good video, because the text made from the blog may make not much sense.
Also, if you want a good voice over quality , punctuation marsk in text are important.
Voice over only in english, some other languages would be good ...
Good value for the price, I'd say.

For me it´s working very well. I recommend this useful tool for entrepreneurs and agencies.
