A: Thank you for the interest, I’m happy to share the story behind stocktrader.studio.

My name is Francesco Lorenzetti, and I’m the founder of the platform. I come from a somewhat unusual background, having studied both Law and Engineering, and have spent over 15 years working as a CTO / Director of Engineering across various companies in Italy and the United Kingdom.

I discovered value investing about a decade ago, and it completely changed the way I thought about money, risk, and long-term financial independence. That experience inspired me to build stocktrader.studio, a tool designed to make high-quality investment research accessible to everyone, especially beginners.

I built the first version of the product in early 2024 and later invited Richard and Alexey, two of the most talented engineers I’ve ever worked with, to join me as co-founders. Others joined us along the way to offer expertise in different areas, especially finance and accounting.

We recently launched on AppSumo to gather some user feedback and test the market response, and are now looking for investment to help us grow faster, expand our features, and bring high-quality investing tools to more people around the world.
