Q: If Storipress has deprecated features stated in initial promotion that fueled purchases, then it's a CARDINAL ...
SIN to Appsumolings who invested early. Creating the newer product Prophet by snatching pieces away from the original product means to me that they renegotiated the terms AFTER receiving my money. So my question is the same as those unanswered so far... will the terms that fueled early investment be honored in full, or have I fallen for a bait-and-switch? Isn't the simple solution to elevate those that showed their love for what seemed to be a great resource at the time to PROPHET status to restore faith? I am obviously a bit peeved and am in email communication with Alex Pan, co-Founder & CEO. Am hopeful this 'story' gets a turnaround in sentiment as this is a reputation situation that hinders conversions for other Appsumo offerings. It's about faith and trust. Please restore it.

You have your answer now, Storipress closing.
Definite bait and switch. Huge AppSumo promotion and then no new features. Just look at their slack channel. Absolute silence for months with people who have issues. Seems like this was the plan for months but they dragged it out past a year so us investors had no recourse.

If this is for real that Alex Pan is simply shifting these assets over to a new product and ignoring previous purchasers and all the work and money I put into this, I am going to be rightly pissed and looking forward to his next public appearance.

I am sharing a screenshot from Alex Pan's email when I complained about the platform's closure. I also mentioned that they should stop sending emails announcing the closure, as it seemed like a joke (I received four repeated emails in less than forty minutes). :-( . I was literally about to setup my new Blog on Storipress TONIGHT! I can hardly express how disappointed (actually pissed!) I am about this entire fiasco. Sure, we Appsumolings are risk $$ like any other type of investor. But this one really stinks because I get the impression from their 'cease' email that the company just didn't like the Customers, as if WE were too much work, not enough value.
