Good selection
I thought it was an inexpensive and easy to use application. I do not like the screen of the PC version.
The summary section is translated into several languages. I think it is an automatic translation, but at least the Japanese is somewhat difficult to read.
I wish the podcasts had translations as well.
I thought the choice of books was good, as well as the variety.
I wish they would pay a little more attention to the standard and classics.

StoryShots is a mobile first app (and that's why AppSumo has reviewed the app, not the site). The site is a simple add-on. We believe the best experience can be provided through native Windows and Mac apps. That's what we have on our roadmap.
The text shots are translated with the most cutting-edge AI in existence. (and no, it's not Google Translate). If you kindly contact our support and specify an example or two, we can look into improving it. Please note that we're the only app in the world that's even providing this level of language support.
Improving audio language support to other languages for all books is something that's on our roadmap for later this year/early next year. If you believe Japanese audio shots should be provided first, please vote this language up using Vote for new features under Settings.
