I've other Book Summary Products that I use.

1) StoryShots has good content coverage, however, not everything is their own creation / summary. Many of the links are taken from Youtube / other people's podcasts. That's not a problem, however, StoryShot should make that explicit and transparent - which it doesn't provide that transparency now.

That means they can show that they've a large collection of book summaries, even without having those summaries.

2) There are many links when you open a book summary. Some of the links are distractions such as Buy this Book (taking you to amazon) etc... I should have an option in the App Settings to turn on or turn off these links. I personally will not click on these links to buy product from Amazon through StoryShots App.

Yes, I understand that they are trying to making some additional $$ there.

3) Limit of only one code. Now, even if you liked this product and would like 4 team members on your team to be able to access StoryShots there is no such feature allowing you to add team members to your Account. If they offered additional Tiers such as Tier 2, Tier 3 where you can have more team members added to your account, that'll be a great option for small businesses who want their team to also learn. In such cases, if a team member leaves your organization, you should be able to remove the access and then add access for a new team member. Appsumo Deals Team could have done better job striking a deal that involved ability to buy more codes - even if at the same incremental rate.

4) Lack of Notes taking. If there is a way to take my notes against the chapter / book, mark highlights for key points, and mark the books as favorite, label the books etc... that'll greatly help increase the value from reading books, as I can come back to these notes and highlights.

There are many more improvements that can be done this product beyond adding book summaries - provided the owner has a vision for that, openness to feedback and a team capable to do it.
