Really Like This...
I love reading, but recently have less and less time to devote to books I want to read, so they either sit on my bookshelf, or on my kindle, untouched.
I've tried Blinkist, but prefer Story Shots.
I love how your get mutliple ways to digest the books, and the breakdowns and synopsis with the diagrams all go really well to helping me retain what I'm reading.
I agree with a previous review. This would also be great to read/listen before you read the complete book, as it gives context and massively helps retention.
I hope the founders continue to grow the library, but the books that are already in place are great.
A very easy 5 tacos!
Keep up the great work.

May 9, 2024Thanks a ton for your warm, detailed and motivating review! It helps us grow and improve StoryShots for everyone.
We love reading too but we don't enjoy the guilt we feel of a growing stack of unread books. Eventually, we ended up buying fewer books and saw our friends do the same.
The diversity of content is a key differentiator between StoryShots and apps like Blinkist, Shortform, Instaread and Headway. Not everyone likes to read "words" or listen to an audiobook. Besides, different types of content (when it comes to medium, length, style, etc.) help us understand the ideas much better (esp. in today's dynamic fast-paced world). We're glad you agree!
Many of our customers who are avid readers use StoryShots to "trial" a book before buying it. Hey, movies have trailers, why shouldn't books? We're excited to see more and more people discover exciting new and relevant books through StoryShots (and end up buying more books).
We'll keep improving our catalog thanks to the support we get from customers like you. We're in it for the long haul. This is an app we built to scratch our own itch and we're delighted to see it's helping others learn and grow too.
If you have any other thoughts or questions, don't hesitate to reply here or contact us at support@getstoryshots.com. We'd love to hear from you.
Happy holidays!
