I Feel Lucky I Got On This
If I was going to do this, I was going to go all in, and I didn't want to invest the effort to set it up unless I was actually going to use it. So I read tons of reviews and poked around in the free trial before deciding. And I had already tried a couple of alternatives, such as Teachable, Suitedash, and Thrive Apprentice.
This is my first appsumo purchase, and I am delighted with it even though I don't have it completely figured out yet. I was able to get set up quickly, my support ticket was answered promptly and helpfully, and I'm just so excited about how this is going to allow me to scale my business. OMG!
The web editor is a little clunky, but so is Wordpress, and the actual published site looks great, including on mobile.
I love not having to mess with wordpress plugins!!! I think this is every bit as good as and better than Teachable.
I appreciate the balance subhub strikes between offering options and minimizing complexity. It is perfect for my technical ability (millennial, long time Wordpress user, do most of my own web admin, can figure out most software but would rather it be supportive in the background and not the main focus of my time and energy). Once I mostly figure it out, I will probably hire someone on upwork to update it so that I know that I can but i don't have to.
I wish it didn't only support MailChimp integration because I want to use Robly for email, but I can see the benefit of just supporting one integration and doing it well rather than having to spend resources on multiple integrations. I am considering whether it is worth doing zapier to get mailchimp and robly to talk to each other or if I will decide to keep it simple and stick to mailchimp. One nice thing is, with the amazing deal I got on it, I won't feel put out if I end up paying zapier to extend it a little.
Thank you SubHub and AppSumo for this offer! I really appreciate it!
