Unlike other icon creation tools, this one is (Mac) desktop-based, not web-based. I'd bought CandyIcons on AppSumo (AS) previously, and that is web-based. Super Icon shows the AI prompt used to create the graphic, which can be useful for someone learning AI image creation.
You can use this prompt to modify the graphic to achieve different results with a separate AI image generator app, as you can't input a prompt here. Also, there is no limit to the number of icons you can create (per month), as with CandyIcons. There are image categories you can select to narrow down the final image result. I tried uploading a basic JPG file to get the app to 'AI-itize' it, and I feel this upload image feature may need more work! Overall, and for the price, it does a good job of creating icons.
