A Great Creative Image Generator!!

Super Machine is Awesome!! It comes with a learning curve, but if you are a creative person with attention to detail, you’ll have a lot of fun with it.

Image output is hit or miss, so you can burn through credits figuring it out. I’ve used 2250 credits so far and gotten about 600 high-quality, useable images from it (average 3.75 credits per image). I’m using it to create elaborate artwork so I can’t speak about “photo” generation. I am also very picky and enjoy experimenting. Over time I will use less credits getting great images. In a week I have already 10X my image quality.

Regarding writing prompts, I liken it to sitting down with an artist and describing to them what you want them to create:

“Man with cat on his lap”
…is going to produce something exceptionally basic, likely with errors. There is no detail in that description!

“Muscular happy smiling man sitting on bench in park with grey Siamese cat on his lap, blue eyes, forest landscape with walking paths, partly cloudy sky, volumetric clouds, global illumination, concept art, follow rule of thirds, intense emotion, hyper realism, high detail, octane render, unreal engine 5, photorealistic, 8K output, intricate complexity, extremely detailed surroundings, smooth edges, sharp focus,”

…This will create an amazing image 8 times out of 10. If it doesn’t or you want something different, then you simply tweak the variables of what you want the scene to look like.

Personally, I hope the creator allows us to buy more codes. I haven’t had this much fun experimenting with a piece of creative tech in a very long time!

Improvements I’d like to see:

Some type of folder structure for arranging our images. Scrolling through 1000+ images from top to bottom is not fun.

The software has a lot of issues getting facial expressions and fingers correct for some reason. I have figured out that prompting specific facial expressions does help. Most hands end up with either 4 or 6 fingers. Sometimes you get an extra leg. These can be edited in Photoshop, but it would be nice to work out those kinks in the software. Also, I hate when it cuts off an image. As an example, I created a wolf image and it cut off the head from the eyes up. This isn’t something I can correct. I’ve had a few errors like this.

It would be nice to get credits back when these types of errors occur since they are just going to waste.

Currently, when deleting images you can tell Super Machine when the output, or quality is bad. Assuming it helps image output, I’d like a way to tell Super Machine when an image output is Good, Great, and Excellent!

Lastly, it is nice that you added 4x upscaling, but for my purposes (print) I would prefer you add the 10x option as well (from replicate dot com). It would save me the trip over there.

Working out these kinks can make this software a game changer!
