This is become the norm for many Appsumo offering these days. The product is released with big promises, the money is taken, the refund period expires, and that is when the troubles start. Promises are broken. Products just become zombie offerings that are the SAAS equivalent of the Walking Dead, or they just shut down after a few months and throw their hands up and say it didn't work out as well as they thought or that they didn't get any funding (odd after they'd just taken everyone's money and won't give it back). At one time Appsumo seemed to be taking a proactive role in preventing this kind of thing happening or stepping in when it does, but now they see, to just smile and keep the money. What's weird is even after all the unhappy Supermachine reviews Appsumo just go ahead and promote the same guys next offering (some music generator) and I can guarantee you that it will come with lots of promises of how it will be great, better than Suno, blah, blah, but trust me. All these promises are meaningless and you'd have been better of saving your money and just subscribing to Sun (which is in a whole different league to the tool he is now offering). It is a shame as I love to support independent developers, and there are undoubtedly ones who deserve support, but sadly this isn't one of the cases.
