Think of this service as the last phase of your production, after editing and mixing, before uploading to the web or broadcast platform.

I am aware of other similar applications that will automatically remove 'dead air' - silence in the recording - a very useful tool for podcasters.

Yes, that makes sense. I simple DAW like Audacity does this as well. We do have noise reduction profiles that help with this process. In the future, we will be adding a noise reduction controls as well as other functionality to ReMasterMedia, so the more pro user could have control over the preset functionality. Out of the gate we wanted this service to be more plug n play.
