Q: download subtitles as .srt file?
Can I download subtitles as an .srt file? I know the subtitle and timestamps are already available on YT and I can just copy-paste them, but I specifically need them in srt format. Can you do that?

SurFast Video Downloader offers two options for subtitle downloads:
Download subtitles as separate files. The format will be the same as the one uploaded to YouTube, which can be SRT or VTT. However, the format is not guaranteed.
You can also choose to embed the subtitles into the videos (this is not the same as burning them).

Hello, thanks for your purchase. Here are steps to download subtitles.
Method 1. Save videos along with subtitle files
1. Launch SurFast Video Downloader and paste the YouTube video URL.
2. On the popup, select the video format and size, then tick "Original Subtitles" and click "Download".
Method 2. Download Subtitles only
1. Launch the app and click the lightbulb icon.
2. Select Subtitle and save the settings.
3. Copy and paste the video link and SurFast Video Downloader will save the subtitle file only for you.

I checked the box for subtitles. Now they download, but not always. Maybe because not all videos have subtitles, I don't know. But I cannot complain. Thank you!
