Q: "Error 56% An unexpected error occurred during the download"
This is for Youtube videos. (Disclaimer: intention is purely for temporary personal offline viewing)
I've done these steps: "Clear Chromium Folder: If no VPN is in use, delete the Chromium folder at the path below and restart the application: Windows: C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\NablaMind\SurFast Video Downloader".
It solved the issue for many videos. But there are a couple of videos that randomly get stuck at "Error [numerical value]% An unexpected error occurred during the download"
I've refreshed my folder "C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\NablaMind\SurFast Video Downloader". There's no Chromium Folder there.
Please help to fix this error.

This was previously answered by Charlene who said: disable any VPN, delete the Chromium folder at C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\NablaMind\SurFast Video Downloader and restart the app; if that doesn’t fix it, send your SurFast version, the video links, and the vd_server.log so they can investigate. You can find that answer here: https://appsumo.com/products/surfast-video-downloader/questions/it-worked-the-first-day-but-not-since-1432415/
Since you’ve already cleared that folder and it’s gone, please try these quick checks: turn off any VPN (even briefly), make sure SurFast is fully updated and restarted (run as admin on Windows), and confirm the videos aren’t private/age‑restricted or region‑blocked. If the error persists, please reply with the app version (Settings > About), the exact YouTube links, and the vd_server.log from the same Roaming path — then Charlene’s team can dig in further.
