Q: Question has been resolved.
This was a small "non-issue" that I was concerned about, but it has now been fully resolved by the team, amazing support and I can't wait to test the product!

Edited Dec 9, 2025A: Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. I just ran the scan and confirmed the issue. We can resolve this by reaching out to Bkav Pro to address the false positive.
For context, Bkav Pro is known for its high false positive rate on VirusTotal scans, and detections from more powerful, reputable antivirus programs (like Microsoft Defender, Kaspersky, or ESET) are generally more reliable—none of which flagged our tool. When our tool was listed on AppSumo, their staff conducted a thorough inspection. We've been featured there for over a year now, and if you review the questions and user feedback, you'll see no one has reported any security concerns.
I truly appreciate your understanding.

Thanks for your swift reply.
I do understand, and I understand that this is very likely just a false positive, but I am just extremely careful about installing anything that has even a remote chance of containing something sketchy. Can the warning be removed by signing the relevant file?
I'll wait for two weeks and hope you can get this resolved, and if you do I'll also delete my question.
Hello Rob, thanks for your reply. I understand your concerns.
I already sent an email to the antivirus company to ask them to address this.
Also, I have asked the developer to check if there is anything else we can do.
Thanks again for founding this for us.
Just want to share an update: we have received the reply from Bkav: "Bkav would like to inform that the issue has been solved. Please check it and reply us."
I just run the file scan again on VirusTotal, and the flag is still there. I guess it will take time for the update. I hope this is helpful for you.

No the flag is now gone and it looks (and is) 100% clean now, so great job, thank you!
