Q: Youtube video downloader not working

Hi, I have tried multiple videos to download from youtube and they do not parse. This was working a few days back.

I have updated the software and cleared the cache but that doesn't work either.

A: Hello, can you share your component number (date) with us? We updated the component last Friday and it should be working now.
If not, pllease try the steps below:

Check VPN: If you’re using a VPN, disable it and test SurFast Video Downloader again.
Clear Cache: Go to SurFast Video Downloader's Settings > Advanced Settings to clear cache. Restart the software. You can try multiple times.
Clear Chromium Folder: If no VPN is in use, delete the Chromium folder at the path below and restart the application:
Windows: C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\NablaMind\SurFast Video Downloader
Mac: /Users/xxxxx/Library/Application Support/NablaMind/SurFast Video Downloader

For Mac user, you can try to delete this if none of them works: /Users/XXX/Library/Application Support/NablaMind/SurFast Video Downloader/yt-dlp_macos

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please provide:

The version of SurFast Video Downloader (Windows or Mac) and its version number (Settings > About).
The video links you’re trying to download.
The vd_server.log file from the same path above.

Hi, that did not work. I am using version 2.82 on Windows 11.

I couldn't find the Chromium folder, but just deleted what I could about Surfast.

Hello, I tested and the two videos were downloaded successfully on Windows. Here is how to locate the log:
Win: %AppData%\NablaMind\SurFast Video Downloader - Paste it directly into the File Explorer address bar and press Enter to quickly open this folder

1. Paste the text below directly into the File Explorer address bar and press Enter to quickly open it
%AppData%\NablaMind\SurFast Video Downloader

2. Download the zip file from the link below: https://d.nablamind.com/videodownload/yt-dlp.zip

3. Unzip the file and replace the file in the opened path in step 1.

4. Restart SurFast Video Downloader. Wait for your reply.
