A Shiny White Elephant: Feature-Rich but Functionally Broken
I purchased it a few months ago, and it worked fine. I will say that this team—the product team—makes a lot of effort in updating the features and the services. They have now introduced a private tab. However, the issue is that I am unable to download anything (last 2 months or so), whether from YouTube or elsewhere. It just says, "Error: percentage zero, an unexpected error occurred during the download." The same thing keeps happening again and again. I thought probably YouTube had changed something, but then I figured out that there are some issues somewhere in this product, because I had to purchase another software (to verify). I'm not sure. Also, the biggest problem is there is no way to get any help and support. You can see the entire Surfast Area UI, and there isn't any place to get customer support.

To keep SurFast Video Downloader, please make sure you get the latest component (it is now 2026.08.21). This should run autmatically when you launch the app. If not, please try the steps below:
1. Paste the text below directly into the File Explorer address bar and press Enter to quickly open this folder %AppData%\NablaMind\SurFast Video Downloader
2. Delete the 4 files: deno.exe, yt-dlp.exe, yt-dlp_version.txt, yt-dlp_x86.exe
3. Restart SurFast Video Downloader and let the auto update run.
4. Restart the tool and try to download videos again.
